Our Sustainability Mission Statement outlines the key principles and values that guide our approach to sustainability-related activities and decision-making across environmental, social, and governance topics.

The statement builds on PTW's existing corporate values and provides a framework for our long-term sustainability ambitions. It serves as an internal point of reference for the development and implementation of sustainability-related initiatives within the company.

Environment

At PTW, we view sustainability as a core value that shapes our future. We strive to go beyond legal requirements and foster a culture of transparency, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

Our goal is to strengthen durability and resource efficiency in product development while increasingly integrating additional principles of the circular economy. We also aspire to adapt our facilities to support well-being, biodiversity, and climate resilience, wherever feasible.

Targets such as reducing our Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 75% by 2030 (calculated on a market-based basis for our Freiburg and Umkirch sites) and the gradual reduction of Scope 3 emissions guide our efforts. This vision motivates us to act responsibly and thoughtfully, taking responsibility for people, the environment, and future generations.
