"Michael D. Mills Editor in Chief Award of Excellence" for Dr. Daniela Poppinga
Our colleague, research scientist and speaker at the PTW Dosimetry School and a number of webinars, Dr. Daniela Poppinga, together with her co-authors, was honored with the "Michael D. Mills Editor in Chief Award of Excellence for an Outstanding General Medical Physics Article published in The Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics in 2020" for a paper on the modular QA phantom RUBY.
The publication "Evaluation of the RUBY modular QA phantom for planar and non‐coplanar VMAT and stereotactic radiations" was published in August 2020 in the JACMP and evaluates the clinical use of the RUBY modular QA phantom for linac QA to validate the integrity of IGRT workflows including the congruence of machine isocenter, imaging isocenter, and room lasers.
We congratulate Daniela on this great success!
