Bragg Peak^® Chamber Type 34070

The 34070 Bragg peak chamber is designed to measure the exact location of the Bragg peak in therapy proton beams. The large diameter of the chamber allows the measurement of the complete proton beam diameter (non-scanned) including the scattered protons. The chamber is waterproof and consequently can either be used in air behind a water column or in a water phantom. In water, the Bragg Peak chamber can be used for measurements of horizontal beams. Due to the thickness of the entrance and exit windows, the chamber can additionally be used in vertical beams where measurements are performed in different water depths.
