OCTAVIUS II

OCTAVIUS II is a 2D dose verification system for pre-treatment QA of rotational IMRT & VMAT deliveries in radiotherapy. The octagonal phantom geometry allows flexible adaptions of the measurement setups to clinically relevant beam directions. An integrated air cavity ensures uniform directional dose response at arbitrary gantry angles during measurements with PTW OCTAVIUS detectors.

The user interface VeriSoft provides advanced 2D dose comparison and evaluation tools necessary for treatment plan verification, such as 3D Gamma analysis, Profile and dose distribution overlays, Dose-difference distributions, Failed points analysis, etc.

OCTAVIUS II includes the following components:

    Octagon-shaped, multi-purpose solid body phantom for IMRT QA, optimized for rotational dosimetry. Includes detector plate for merged measurements inside the phantom.
  • OCTAVIUS Detector
    OCTAVIUS II includes the following high-resolution ionization chamber array:
    • OCTAVIUS Detector 1500 with 1405 vented ionization chambers
      The array includes detector interface for power supply and data transfer.
  • VeriSoft Patient Plan Verification Software
    Intuitive, workflow-oriented software platform for patient plan verification with PTW OCTAVIUS systems. Offers advanced tools for visual and quantitative dose comparison and evaluation, including 3D volume analysis, Failed points plots and connectivity to data-management platform Track-it.
